“Great change is made through small steps.” - Kaizen (Japanese) philosophy
We bought our first house, this house, in 2018. The first thing we did was pull out, by hand, a long established English Ivy hedge - if you know how insidious English Ivy is, you know this was a life accomplishment! Then, our friends put in a new hogwire fence in its place which is now obscured by one of our favorite plants that shines in early spring - Echium Candican. From there, improvements came one by one and slowly the property has transformed. It has turned out to be a life pleasure to share it with guests and we’re not done yet!
